Year 1 (Class 3 & Class 4) - Geography - Temple Newsam Trip

Class 3 and 4 have loved visiting Temple Newsam on a school trip. 

We had a guided tour of the farm where we saw lots of animals, such as cows, pigs, goats and chickens. We had a great time stroking the goats and smaller animals like guinea pigs. 

After eating lunch, we then went into Temple Newsam House and took part in a Jack and the Beanstalk workshop. We had to look around the house for the golden harp, the hen and the gold coins from the story without waking the giant! 

Luckily we found the objects and left before the giant caught us!
