Holidays & Opening Times

As school holidays are generous, we expect parents to arrange family holidays entirely in school holiday time.

Only in exceptional circumstances will leave of absence in term time be granted and requests for such leave of absence should be made in writing, to the Headteacher, well in advance.

We are open 33.75 hours per week and the school day begins at 08:50. 

The school doors open at 8.30am; each year group has an identified door to come into school.

Nursery

AM Start: 08:30 - 08:40

AM Finish: 11:30

PM Start: 12:30 - 12:35

PM Finish: 15:30

 

Reception / Year 1 / Year 2

Start: 08:30 - 08:50

Finish: 15:20

Entry: Through own classroom doors (Class 3 in through spare classroom).

Exit: Out of own classroom doors (Class 3 exit through spare classroom).

 

Year 3 / Year 4

Start: 08:30 - 08:50

Finish: 15:15 - 15:20

Entry: Side entrance near nursery.

Exit (Year 3): Nursery playground.

Exit (Year 4 including class 9): Train playground through main entrance.

 

Year 5 / Year 6

Start: 08:30 - 08:50

Finish: 15:25

Entry: Side entrance in back playground.

Exit (Year 5): Side entrance in back playground for classes 13 and 14. Class 15 through the corridor door outside the classroom.

Exit (Year 6): Class 15 through the corridor door outside the classroom / class 16 through the hall doors.

 

Members of the senior leadership team will be outside every day to provide assistance / answer any questions / pass on messages.

Please make sure you bring your children and pick them up on time. Please leave the school grounds as soon as you can and do not meet in the playgrounds or at the entrances to school.

Parents in School

We will be only allowing parents in school by appointment or at allocated times to pay by card at the office.  If you would like to speak to someone, please call,email the school,or see a member of the senior leadership team who will be around at the entrances at the beginning and end of the day.

Card payments for school lunches, breakfast and after school club can be made at the office on a Monday between 7am and 9am.
