Year 3 (Class 7) - English - Author Visit
Today class 7 had a visit from, Marie Basting, a children's author. We got to meet Tyson the teabag and learn about her stories.
We then started to plan our own time travel stories.
We had chance to read our stories to the class an receive feedback from the author.

Year 3 (Class 7) - History - Roman Day
Class 7 had lots of fun on our Roman day!
We created our own Roman mosaics and Roman shields.
We then dressed up as romans.

Year 3 (Class 8) - Commando Joe's - Gladiator Training School
Today we became Roman slaves forced into gladiator training school. It was very tough.
We had to encourage each other to keep going and we had to try our best even when we were really tired!

Year 3 (Class 9) - History - Roman Day
Class 9 had a fantastic Roman day! We learned about why the Romans invaded Britain when it was so difficult for them.
We then dressed as Romans and used the shields we made to march around school.
We even invaded a few enemy classes!

Year 3 (Class 7) - Cultural Education - Leeds Playhouse Trip
Class 7 thoroughly enjoyed our trip to the Leeds playhouse to see The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe.

Today we had to use our teamwork in order to row our boats from the sinking ship to the other side of the ice floe.

Today we looked at the different kinds of bullying: cyber, verbal, physical and social.
We made freeze Frames to show what each kind of bullion looks like and how the victim of each kind might be feeling.

Year 3 showed off their fantastic artworks (on canvas and in sketchbooks) inspired by the work of Vincent Van Gogh at our St Bart’s art gallery.
