Year 3 (Class 8) - Maths - Capacity and Mass

Today we started our new topic on mass and capacity. We got out lots of different types of scales and found different things to measure in the classroom. 

We made predictions about how much things would weigh and also how many of certain items would be equal to a specific weight. We weighed ourselves and compared who had the greatest and smallest mass. 

We practiced reading scales and decided whether we would use grams or kilograms to weigh different items.
