Class 11 have been discussing the difference between a democracy and dictatorship.
They had some statements leadership they would come under. They were also able to identify the type of rule in some countries.

Year 4 (Class 11) - English - Oliver Twist Vocabulary
Class 11 worked in their collaborative pairs to find new vocabulary in a chapter of Oliver Twist.
We then discussed the new words and what we thought they meant by reading the sentence they were in.

Year 4 - P.E - Leeds Rhino's Player Visit
Last week KS2 had a an exciting visit from Leeds Rhino's player Joe Gibbons.
Joe talked about what it takes to become a professional rugby player and did a Q and A session with the children.
Afterwards Joe visited some of the classrooms and signed autographs.

Year 1 - Dough Disco
In small groups, some year 1 children enjoyed dough disco today.
We squeezed the dough, made balls, rolled the dough and patted the dough. This helped warm our hands up ready for handwriting.
We also engaged in some large mark making to music! We love a Friday squiggle while we wiggle!

Year 5 (Class 13) - Silence Challenge
Class 13 were set the challenge of moving their tables and chairs back together (in silence!) after completing a maths test.
The children amazed Mr Needham with how they worked together (using hand gestures and facial expressions) to complete the task!
