Class 4 enjoyed taking part in a treasure hunt organised by Wortley Community Centre.
The children followed a map to find the Christmas clues.

This week we looked at the world map and discuss the climates of different countries we discussed polar, temperate and tropical countries.
When we looked closely we realised the countries near the equator had a tropical climate and countries furthest away had a polar climate.

Class 16 have been looking at cams, cogs and levers.
With this knowledge, we built small rotating toys that showed the principles of them.

Class 16 have been reading the poem ‘the highwayman’.
Today we sounded out the syllables and then put them to a beat by either clapping or tapping the table.

Year 1 (Class 4) - Use of Provision
This week we have had our own Santa's workshop.
