Nursery - Celebrations
This half term is all about celebrations.
Last week we have learnt all about Diwali, Hindu festival of light and Remembrance Day. We had two minutes silence today and we are proud of all the children as they sat quietly for the whole two minutes.

Year 5 (Class 13) - English - Library Story Time
This week class 13 have had their story time in the library with Mr Waters.
The story was about a man that walked between two towers, they discussed a how courageous he was.
The children loved joining in with props and acting out the story.

Year 2 (Class 7) - History - Skipton Castle Trip

On Friday, we had a day dedicated to Remembrance Day.
We discussed what it is and why we celebrate it and the importance of it too.

Year 2 (Class 6) - History - Skipton Castle Trip
Class 6 had a fantastic day at Skipton Castle! It was great to have a guided tour around the castle; we really impressed our guide with our castle knowledge!
We also had time to sketch different parts of the castle.

This week, year 5 and 6 had a great time when the author Daniel Ingram-Brown came and visited.
He spoke to class 16 about scary stories and we began writing our own character and scary story as a class.

Year 3 (Class 9) - Design Technology - Light Boxes
Years 3 and 4 have started their new DT topic.
We are designing and making light boxes this half term.
Today, we looked at some light boxes and created a circuit using a battery, bulb and wires.
