This week we looked at how we could get our Lego robot to move using the sound sensor we attached to it.

Our tadpoles have been going from strength to strength.
They are beginning to develop legs with some already having back legs and front legs on the way.
We can’t wait to see how many frogs we get before we release them back to the pond where they came from.

In class 6 we have been learning about the artist Lucy Poskitt.
She is a weaver. We have started to learn how to weave.
We created our own looms and practiced using different materials going over and under.

Year 4 (Class 10) - Yorkshire Sculpture Park Trip
Class 10 having fun in the glorious sunshine and creative splendour of Yorkshire Sculpture Park.
The children took a guided tour of the grounds, learned how to 'read' a sculpture, and even had a go at making their own.

Today we investigated making our own magnets.
We investigated the question: how long will our magnets stay magnetised for?

Class 15 have been working extremely hard in Maths and children have enjoyed the challenge of completing work on translating shapes.
