Year 5 - P.E - Inclusion Athletics
Last week, pupils from years 4, 5 and 6 took part in an inclusion athletics event.
The pupils had a fantastic attitude and gave it their all in a variety of different events.

Today we have learnt to play the note 'B' and hold the recorder correctly.

Year 3 (Class 8) - Armley Mills Trip
Class 8 had a brilliant time at Armley Mills. We learnt what it was like to go to school in Victorian Leeds.
We wrote with ink pens and slate boards, learnt the importance of a healthy body and learnt the value of preserving the social order and knowing our place.

Today we learnt how to use a or an correctly.
We looked at vowels and consonants and matched up a or an with the words. We then put a or an in sentences.

This week we continued filling our outside beds with soil and adding soil improver to help our plants grow.

Year 1 (Class 3) - Reading - Funnybones
In class 3 we have been reading ‘Funnybones’.
Lilah has enjoyed the book so much that her mummy has bought her two more books in the series.
Lilah has been so kind and let the class listen to both stories!

Year 4 (Class 11) - English - Library Visit
Class 11 have been back to the library to choose a new book.
Some of the children gave us a book review about the book they have read. We discussed how the library was set out and how they could use this to find a book they may like.
They then took the time to read quietly.

Year 4 (Class 11) - R.E - Older Religions
Class 11 have started looking at some older religions and how they all had a sun god to worship.
They have looked at Ra, from Ancient Egypt, Huitzilopochtli and Quetzalcoatl from Aztecs and Apollo from Ancient Greeks.
They used iPads to research more information about them and will write up…
