We have been on a hunt around school this week.

Year 2 (Class 6) - P.E - Throwing and Catching
Class 6 have been working hard in their pe lessons on their throwing and catching.
They have been focusing on the strength of the pass and aiming for a target.
Their focus and resilience was lovely to see as well as how they cheered each other on.

Year 2 (Class 6) - Science - Bouncy Balls
Class 6 created an experiment to discover how bouncy balls were.
They worked together to drop the balls from a certain height, measuring its bounce against a metre stick. They then recorded their results and ranked the balls from bounciest to least bounciest.

This week in computing club most groups began to program their robots using a laptop.
The Lego NXT software allows you to adjust your robots speed, direction and even talk.
Everyone is learning how to program really quickly, well done!

Class 12 went back in time on their school trip this week! They were met from their transport by a billeting officer and assigned to board at Lotherton House.

Year 2 (Class 5) - Man of the Match Award
On Friday Jackson brought in a very special trophy.
Jackson showed the class and explained he was given man of the match in his weekend football team because he showed great resilience.
