Class 14 had fun this afternoon. They used their cutting skills to make a strawberry tortilla wrap.
We discussed afterwards the different fruit, jams or spreads they could use at home to make a lovely dessert for their family.

Class 14 enjoyed trying the different ways to preserve strawberries.
They were surprised how nice the tinned ones were although some didn’t like the texture.
The jam was the favourite followed by tinned then the dried ones.

In the final week of Computing Club we brushed up on our Microsoft PowerPoint skills.
Everyone created really appealing presentations and made good use of various animations that are available in PowerPoint.

Class 16 have used their cutting skills to make their own fruit tortilla.
They loved eating them at the end and said they would be making them at home for their families.

Class 16 have enjoyed trying the different ways that strawberries can be preserved.
They tried tinned, dried in the air fryer and jam. The jam was the winner.
Some of the children were surprised how nice the tinned ones tasted once the got over the look of them.

Class 16 have been learning about the evolution of finches on the Galápagos Islands.
We experimented with different beak types to empathise with the finches and understand why they evolved their beaks the way they did.
